Just had a call from a company talking about level of fees at Kenmore. Seemed to know quite a lot about the resort. Said they were pursuing a class action on behalf of owners for a number of resorts because it was illegal for fees to be raised beyond the level of inflation (?)
Anybody else been called in this regard? Is it for real?

Unfortunately it is not true that fees can only be raised in line with inflation. Oh! were it so!

I have enquired about this and this company seems to be calling quite a few owners (not our owners I hasten to add, but owners at other resorts and points owners). There is no current class action being taken against DRI and none is expected. Obviously if this company believes it stands a chance of getting hold of some money then they may institute an action, just as anyone can. But IMHO they would stand no chance of getting anything for the owners who coughed up whatever it is they are demanding. Purely my opinion, I have no authority whatsoever to speak on behalf of DRI.
